2010 Boll & Cie Grand Cru Blanc de Blanc Extra Brut

Boll & Cie's 2010 Grand Cru is an oustandingly BIG champagne. Grand Cru grapes from Mesnil and Mesnil sur Oger, arguably the best soils and conditions for growing Chardonnay in the world are used here. Naturally, only first press juice from the grapes are used to protect the integrity and quality of the wine. 
 
100% Chardonnay (Blanc de Blanc)
100% Grand Cru Grapes (Less than 9% of all land in Champagne)
First Press wine
Extra Brut. 4-5gm/L Sugar
At least 6 years on lees
 
Tasting Notes: An extremely refined Champagne with a dry firm structure, elegant bubbles and a fragrant nose. Notes of lime tree, verbena and citrus flavors; subtle balance between mineral notes and complex aromas. Powerful in the mouth, creamy with a long finish. As aperitif or all along a meal.
